Senate Resolution Introduced to Recognize National Case Management Week

Public Policy Update

Yesterday Senators Mark Pryor (D-AR) and John Boozman (R-AR) introduced a Senate resolution designating the week of October 12, 2014 through October 18, 2014, as "National Case Management Week" to "recognize the role of case management in improving health care outcomes for patients."

The resolution is a result of a collaborative effort between ACMA and the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) to honor case management professionals for their contributions to health care.

S.RES.518 states that the Senate "recognizes the role of case management in providing successful and cost-effective health care; and encourages the people of the United States to observe National Case Management Week and learn about the field of case management."

ACMA thanks CMSA for its leadership in this initiative, as well as Senators Pryor and Boozman for their sponsorship.
