Welcome to the South Carolina Chapter

Chapter Information

South Carolina Chapter (est. 2003)

Our chapter represents Case Management professionals who reside and/or work in the state of South Carolina.

Chapter Dues: NO chapter dues are required in addition to national dues for chapter membership.

By joining the South Carolina Chapter of the ACMA, you gain access to a collaborative network of individuals who are dedicated to the advancement of hospital/health system case management.

The SC chapter sponsors two key educational events annually, a spring and fall conference to discuss the many challenges and opportunities facing our state and hospital based case management. In addition to providing education, these events provide an excellent opportunity for networking with case management colleagues on various issues and topics.

"The South Carolina Chapter prides itself in a great working relationship with our ACMA chapter manager; regular meetings; constant communication; engagement and teamwork from the members, board and past ACMA South Carolina leaders. We attribute our success in achieving Chapter of Merit this year to the collaborative work of an engaged South Carolina chapter." Karla Lamb, South Carolina Chapter President

The Chapter of Excellence & Merit program defines outstanding chapter performance by outlining the standards of practice for optimal chapter operation. Chapters achieve these awards by demonstrating performance in the key areas of chapter operations and attaining specific growth and development benchmarks.

Annual Meeting

Greetings from your South Carolina ACMA,

I hope that everyone has had a great summer and found time to relax and enjoy!

As we journey into Fall, I want to extend a personal invitation to you to join your SC ACMA Board and your colleagues from around the state at our annual conference.   Our 15th annual South Carolina Chapter Case Management Conference will be held Thursday and Friday, October 18-19, at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach SC.  We are excited about the speakers and content and hope that you find the topics relevant to current challenges and opportunities we all face.

Value is important to all of us, so don’t miss out on the early registration deadline of September 19.

Your Board and Education Committee have busy since the Spring and will be providing updates at our Chapter Business meeting during the annual conference.   We look forward to seeing you in Myrtle Beach!

Warm regards,

Katherine E. Watts, LMSW, ACM-SW
