South Carolina Chapter (est. 2003)

Our chapter represents Case Management professionals who reside and/or work in the state of South Carolina.

Chapter Dues: NO chapter dues are required in addition to national dues for chapter membership.

By joining the South Carolina Chapter of the ACMA, you gain access to a collaborative network of individuals who are dedicated to the advancement of hospital/health system case management.

The SC chapter sponsors two key educational events annually, a spring and fall conference to discuss the many challenges and opportunities facing our state and hospital-based case management. In addition to providing education, these events provide an excellent opportunity for networking with case management colleagues on various issues and topics.

NOVEMBER 4 - 11, 2020

The SC ACMA Education Committee is excited to bring you this virtual conference in partnership with Pee Dee AHEC. Join your Case Management and Transitions of Care peers for this event that includes four continuing education sessions, your SC ACMA business meeting and vendor education. This conference includes four social work speakers. We are excited to offer your expanded date options this year. You will be able to access the online conference from November 4 - 11, to view at your own convenience !  We hope the expanded dates and virtual option will open the conference to more of our professionals across the state so please spread the word. We will offer sessions that include a Care Continuum Covid Panel and SNF 101 education with tips to navigate the SNF placement process. Always a popular speaker, we have Wes Collins that will present on "Providing Ethical Care for the Unfunded, Underfunded and Ineligible Patient" and the VA will bring us an update on the admission UR notification process and discharge planning processes and referrals. 


Please note we are finalizing CEUs and registration information will be forthcoming so please check back on our chapter website at www.acmaweb.org or our SC ACMA Facebook page. We will post when registration is open and will send a notification email to our members.

The Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification is for health care delivery system case management professionals and tests core case management knowledge that is shared by nurse and social work case managers. Case Management Administrator Certification (CMAC) validates the competency of case management administrators, managers and aspiring leaders and promotes professional practice standards. If you are not yet certified, we encourage you to apply and enhance your professional practice by putting a credential after your name.
