Maryland Chapter (est.2003)

Chapter Mission:

To provide educational and networking opportunities to Health Care Delivery System Case Management and Transitions of Care Professionals in the State of Maryland and surrounding states.

Case Management professionals include RN's, Social Workers, Physician Advisors,  Nurse Practitioners, Care Transitions team members, Case Management Assistants

Chapter Dues: Free with National ACMA membership

The Chapter of Excellence program defines outstanding chapter performance by outlining the standards of practice for optimal chapter operation. Chapters achieve these awards by demonstrating performance in the key areas of chapter operations and attaining specific growth and development benchmarks.

Thank you to those who attended our 2019 ACMA MD chapter conference!
The ACMA Maryland has had a lot of wonderful feedback about our 2019 ACMA Maryland Chapter conference from our attendees and or Exhibitors!  We had a wonderful time and a day full of education and entertainment!

  • 3.5 CEUs of Ethics were offered for a total of 5.5 CEUs for SWs, RNs and CMs for the day.

  • And How to Stay Positive in the Work Environment to Improve Patient Satisfaction - we laughed so hard!!!
  • In addition to the fantastic speakers who shared best practices on a variety of topics, there were scores of Exhibitors present, many of whom generously gave away some fabulous door prizes. 
  • In addition to bidding on Silent Auction items many attendees also participated in the 50/50 Raffle. 
  • One lucky individual went home with $542.50 as the winner of the 50/50 Raffle. Several people won free registrations to the 2020 MD Chapter Conference. 
  • One person won a free registration to take the ACM exam, another won a $150 Visa Gift card.
  • If you didn't join us this year, you really missed out!  and the Grand Prize winner will be getting free registration to the 2020 MD Chapter Conference plus one night's hotel stay.

The Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification is for health care delivery system case management professionals and tests core case management knowledge that is shared by nurse and social work case managers. Case Management Administrator Certification (CMAC) validates the competency of case management administrators, managers and aspiring leaders and promotes professional practice standards. If you are not yet certified, we encourage you to apply and enhance your professional practice by putting a credential after your name.
