Etienne Janco, LCSW, LAC, ACM-SW, brings a wealth of experience and a unique
perspective to the field of clinical social work. Her professional journey began with a bold career
shift in her early 30s—from a successful career as a chef in the restaurant industry to pursuing
her passion for helping others. She earned her Master’s in Social Work in 2007 from the Bryn
Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, a distinguished women’s
liberal arts institution in Pennsylvania.
Etienne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor
(LAC) in Colorado. She began her social work career in Pennsylvania, working at an inpatient
addiction treatment facility where she specialized in therapeutic interventions and group therapy.
After nearly seven years, she relocated to Colorado and spent five years as an individual therapist
at AllHealth Network in Littleton, serving in the community mental health sector.
For the past six years, Etienne has worked in medical social work at UCHealth, supporting
patients and care teams at both Longs Peak Hospital and Highlands Ranch Hospital. In her
current role, she conducts behavioral health crisis evaluations and provides social work support
in the emergency department and on the medical floors. Etienne is deeply committed to creating
safe, supportive environments for patients navigating behavioral health challenges, and she
brings empathy, professionalism, and a calm presence to every interaction.
Outside of work, Etienne enjoys live music, exploring the outdoors in Colorado, and traveling
with friends and family. She loves spending time with her teenage niece and nephew, doting on
her new cat, and soaking up the sun.
