South Carolina Chapter (est. 2003)

Our chapter represents Case Management professionals who reside and/or work in the state of South Carolina.

Chapter Dues: NO chapter dues are required in addition to national dues for chapter membership.

By joining the South Carolina Chapter of the ACMA, you gain access to a collaborative network of individuals who are dedicated to the advancement of hospital/health system case management.

The SC chapter sponsors two key educational events annually, a spring and fall conference to discuss the many challenges and opportunities facing our state and hospital-based case management. In addition to providing education, these events provide an excellent opportunity for networking with case management colleagues on various issues and topics.

Continuing Education

This CE activity is approved by the American Case Management Association (ACMA), for up to 7 CEs for nurse and social workers.

The CE credits are also applicable towards ACM, CMAC and CCM recertification. Please note: ACMA and CCMC have a collaborative agreement, therefore there will not be an activity code or approval # 

The American Case Management Association (ACMA) is the association that offers solutions to support the evolving collaborative practice of Hospital/Health System based Case Management. Membership of ACMA is comprised of Nurses, Social Workers, and other professionals practicing/supporting Hospital/Health System Case Management.

ACMA Announcements
Recently at the Leadership and Physician Advisor Conference, ACMA President Pamela Andrews announced that ACTS (Advanced Care Transitions Simulation) has been adopted at over 100 health facilities across the country. This marks a major milestone for the inclusion of simulation and scenario-based training for professionals in case management and transitions of care. The Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification is for health care delivery system case management professionals and tests core case management knowledge that is shared by nurse and social work case managers. Case Management Administrator Certification (CMAC) validates the competency of case management administrators, managers and aspiring leaders and promotes professional practice standards. If you are not yet certified, we encourage you to apply and enhance your professional practice by putting a credential after your name.
