Chapter Information

ACMA Arizona Chapter is a Chapter of Merit Award recipient. This award is an annual recognition given by ACMA that honors outstanding chapter performance by outlining the standards of practice for optimal chapter operation. Chapters achieve these awards by demonstrating performance in the key areas of chapter operations and attaining specific growth and development benchmarks.

ACMA Arizona Chapter Mission: To provide educational programming and networking opportunities to case management and transitions of care professionals across the health care continuum in Arizona. Case management professionals include nurses, social workers, physician leaders, and care transitions teams. 

Chapter membership is FREE with your membership to ACMA (acmaweb.org).

Chapter Board of Directors Election 2021

Attention all ACMA Members in Good Standing: 
The Arizona Chapter holds an Election annually to fill open Board of Director positions. 
Nominations for candidates will be accepted June 1 - September 30, 2021.
The election is held December, 2021. 

Elected Board Members are entrusted with the responsibility to govern and lead the Chapter in a manner that positively represents the membership and ACMA.

Newly elected board members begin their 2-year term May 01, 2022. Positions that will be open are:  
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Member-at-large (3 positions)

The American Case Management Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Marlene Bober, MHA, ACM-RN to Senior Vice President. Bober joined ACMA as Vice President of Practice Development in January of last year, leading ACMA’s certification services, oversight of the Association of Physician Leadership in Care Management (APLCM), the Transitions of Care Standards of Practice and served as a clinical resource for content development. At the onset of the pandemic, Ms. Bober was instrumental in developing vital resources and tools for case management professionals to help educate practitioners in the areas of legislative updates, COVID-19 protocols, emergency preparedness and self-care. The Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification is for health care delivery system case management professionals and tests core case management knowledge that is shared by nurse and social work case managers. Case Management Administrator Certification (CMAC) validates the competency of case management administrators, managers and aspiring leaders and promotes professional practice standards. If you are not yet certified, we encourage you to apply and enhance your professional practice by putting a credential after your name.
