Welcome to the North Carolina Chapter

Chapter Information

The North Carolina Chapter was established in 2003. We have members across our great state and hope you will join us. Case Management Professionals who work or reside in the state of North Carolina are encouraged to join.

There is NO additional fee to join our local chapter.

We sponsor two key events: a spring and fall conference that address current issues in case management. These events provide our members an excellent opportunity to network in addition to learning and sharing from the collective wealth of experiences of all participants.

The NC Chapter has grown to over 250 members. We are committed to advancing the practice of Case Management, supporting our members in their practice, and providing growth opportunities.

We hope you will join ACMA and the North Carolina chapter and help us advance our practice in our state and nationally.

The American Case Management Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Marlene Bober, MHA, ACM-RN to Senior Vice President. Bober joined ACMA as Vice President of Practice Development in January of last year, leading ACMA’s certification services, oversight of the Association of Physician Leadership in Care Management (APLCM), the Transitions of Care Standards of Practice and served as a clinical resource for content development. At the onset of the pandemic, Ms. Bober was instrumental in developing vital resources and tools for case management professionals to help educate practitioners in the areas of legislative updates, COVID-19 protocols, emergency preparedness and self-care. ACMA is proud to announce the election of three new members to our National Board of Directors. The Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification is for health care delivery system case management professionals and tests core case management knowledge that is shared by nurse and social work case managers. Case Management Administrator Certification (CMAC) validates the competency of case management administrators, managers and aspiring leaders and promotes professional practice standards. If you are not yet certified, we encourage you to apply and enhance your professional practice by putting a credential after your name.
