National Case Management Week 2018

Case Management: Improving Outcomes. Improving Care.

National Case Management Week 2018 (NCMW 18) is October 7-13! This year's ACMA theme, Case Management: Improving Outcomes. Improving Care. was selected to emphasize the impact professionals in case management make every day. ACMA hopes you will celebrate NCMW 18 and recognize the dedication, compassion and patient care outcomes achieved by case managers in your organization. Across all care settings, case managers are making the difference!

In conjunction with NCMW 18, Wednesday, October 10 is ACM™ Recognition Day! This is the perfect opportunity to recognize the efforts of those case management professionals who have earned their Accredited Case Manager (ACM™) certification and those who are in the process of becoming ACM™ certified. Many organizations will choose this day to celebrate ACM professionals with a special event, congratulations or gift to recognize this important industry distinction. See the NCMW 18 Products Store for special gifts ideas.

ACMA encourages you to use this week to commend your team and recognize the importance of the case management professionals who dedicate their careers to patients and healthcare organizations.

Recognize Those Who Do More

The ACMA Fundraising Committee's recognition initiative has returned for 2018. Coinciding with National Case Management Week 2018, the program provides case management professionals an opportunity to donate a gift honoring an individual, department, chapter or organization. This program gives you a way to honor or remember those who have personally impacted you in your health care career and who daily make a difference daily in the lives of patients and all of those they touch.

When you make your contribution, your individual or group's name will be listed in ACMA's briefCASE e-newsletter and on the ACMA website for the month of October 2018. Plus, all honorees recognized will appear in the Fall issue of Collaborative Case Management Journal.

All proceeds from the fundraising program support ACMA's fundraising efforts, and as ACMA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible.
