Welcome to the North Carolina Chapter

Chapter Information

The North Carolina Chapter was established in 2003. We have members across our great state and hope you will join us. Case Management Professionals who work or reside in the state of North Carolina are encouraged to join.

There is NO additional fee to join our local chapter.

We sponsor two key events: a spring and fall conference that address current issues in case management. These events provide our members an excellent opportunity to network in addition to learning and sharing from the collective wealth of experiences of all participants.

The NC Chapter has grown to over 250 members. We are committed to advancing the practice of Case Management, supporting our members in their practice, and providing growth opportunities.

We hope you will join ACMA and the North Carolina chapter and help us advance our practice in our state and nationally.

Thanks to all who attended the American Case Management Association North Carolina Chapter's 17th Annual Conference. It was a great day full of learning and collaboration. 


 

2020 ACMA NC Spring Conference

ACMA - NC Chapter Spring Conference at The Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC!  

NETWORK: This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to network with fellow case managers and social workers from across the Carolinas.

LEARN: Diverse learning sessions cover a broad array of healthcare industry and case management-specific topics directly impacting our everyday work, including care coordination, utilization review, transitions, readmissions, and caring for the aging and complex patient.  

The two-day conference earns you up to nine (9.0) continuing education (CE) hours for Nursing, Social Work, ACM, CCM, or Nursing Home Administrator credit. 4.0 Ethics CE hours are pending.

The Case Management Administration Certification (CMAC) is designed to measure the competence of case management administrators, managers, supervisors and leaders, and is available to all professions. The Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification is for health care delivery system case management professionals and tests core case management knowledge that is shared by nurse and social work case managers, as well as competency in the individual skills of each professional background. The Association of Physician Leadership in Care Management (APLCM) releases formal standards to meet the current needs of case management, specifically, the changing and expanding Physician Advisor Role. APLCM worked collaboratively with the American Case Management Association to develop these standards.
