SoCAL ACMA 2020 March Madness Tournament Winner
SoCal ACMA was announced 2020 March Madness Tournament Winner during the ACMA Annual Meeting which was held virtually on April 28, 2020.
March Madness is a Membership Drive competition. This is a bracket style competition with five rounds of elimination. Chapters are awarded points for measurable feats such as new member recruitment, national conference attendee recruitment, increasing chapter retention percentage, etc.
Based on your involvement and commitment to your professional development our chapter was able accumulate the most points to win this initiative. We were able to win because our chapter members were able to see the value of your ACMA membership. Thank you for engaging!
Please go to our Facebook page to hear the announcement from the award ceremony that captured this momentous event! The chapter winning the March Madness trophy is awarded the trophy to display proudly at their events over the course of the year.
Congratulations again on this significant accomplishment! We look forward to continue to provide our members with great service as always.

Cultural Diversity and Ethics
Speaker: Viki Kind
We are in a unique profession as we focus both on the decisions and care within the healthcare setting as well as how the person will do in the short-term and long-term at home. Our practice is enhanced when we have greater insight into and respect for the person’s culture, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc. Attendees will learn how to do an ethnographic interview, how diversity within and across cultures affects decision making, and how our own perspective may be influencing our practice.
Please stay tune for info on the upcoming DINE and LEARN!!!
