Sharil is the Manager of Case Management at HCA’s
West Florida Division and a member of the Compass
for Case Manager’s Advisory Board. She is a
registered nurse with 31 years of experience.
Dana Ballinger, MSW, MPH, LCSW
Dana is a licensed social worker with a Bachelor’s
degree from Missouri Baptist. She is currently the
Manager of Case Management at St. Louis Children’s
Hospital.
Katrina Cravens, RN, BSN, ACM-RN, IQCI
Katrina Cravens is a Registered Nurse with over 25
years of progressive and diversified experience in
health care leadership, hospitals, and managed care.
Her broad based experience includes nursing, disease
management, case management and leadership. Ms.
Cravens currently serves as Tenet Healthcare’s
Director of Inpatient and Case Management Throughput
for the western region. As a case management leader
she works to identify, create, and implement best
practices for case management as related to policy,
process, utilization review, referrals and
authorizations, discharge planning, education and
social services.
Pat Kramer, Ed.S, ACM-SW, CCM, CSW, NCC
Pat is the Senior Director of Case Management for
Duke University Health System. Pat has 30 years of
experience in the evolution of hospital case
management, working in acute care hospitals in
Kentucky, Virginia and North Carolina. Pat holds a
Specialist in Education (Ed.S.) Degree in Mental
Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social
Work (BSW) and is an Accredited Case Manager (ACM),
Certified Case Manager (CCM), a Certified Social
Worker and a National Certified Counselor.
Audrey Cantu-Alves MSN, RN, CCM, CMCN
Ms. Cantu is a registered nurse with 25 years of
health care experience. She holds a Bachelor’s
degree in nursing and a Master’s degree in nursing
with a focus on Health Care Systems Management. She
is board certified in case management and holds a
certification in managed care nursing. She has
served as a Director of Case Management or
Utilization Management for 15 years and is currently
serving as the System Director of Utilization
Management for a large, not-for-profit organization.
Kimberly Browne, LCSW, ACM-SW
Kimberly Browne is the Assistant Director of Social
Work at Tampa General Hospital. With a background in
medical social work focusing on oncology, critical
care, and trauma, Kim transitioned into leadership
roles in 2011 and has enjoyed developing
hospital-based case management teams since. She has
worked with Cooper University Health System in
Camden, NJ, Banner Health System in Arizona, and now
has been with Tampa General Hospital since January
of 2016. Working in a variety of markets has
provided Kim with a diversified knowledge base,
allowing her to implement strategies that can have
far-reaching impact on various patient populations.
Kim’s passions touch on a multitude of areas
including the integration of behavioral healthcare
into the medical model, public policy and advocacy
specific to healthcare, substance abuse
intervention, and homelessness.
Charlotte Crist, RN-BC, CCM, CPHQ
Charlotte Crist, Managing Director, Clinical
Programs for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island,
manages the development, administration and
enhancement of member engagement strategies to
ensure that Clinical Programs are comprehensively
implemented. Charlotte brings twenty five years of
professional healthcare experience to this role to
include public health, case management, and
innovative leadership in population health and
chronic condition management.
