NEW - Compass now has a complete library for Health Plan Case Managers

Launched in February 2024, this is ACMA's newest content library. Content is created specifically for case managers practicing in a health plan or ACO setting.

Over half of US hospitals use Compass for case management education. ACMA's Compass content is the standard by which US hospital case managers are educated. Now, ACMA is extending this service for case management professionals working within health plans and ACOs.

What Is Inside Compass?

Health Plan Compass learners can earn up to 39.5CE hours for the Health Plan Library in nursing, social work, ACM certification, or CMAC certification.

Health Plan Compass learners can earn up to 16.5 CE hours for the Health Plan Library in nursing, social work, ACM certification, or CMAC certification.

Compass training is a comprehensive program designed to provide standardized training for case management staff. It is not intended to be a preparatory course for the Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Exam or a stand-alone preparatory resource.

Compass continuing education (CE) contact hours are generally accepted by most professional nursing and social work organizations and state board of nursing and social work. ACMA has made substantial efforts to obtain appropriate providerships for CE offerings and many licensing authorities allow for some form of CE reciprocity. However, ACMA does not warrant that all professional organizations or licensing authorities will accept its CE contact hours.
