ACM Certification Review Workshop

ACM Certification Review Workshop

Are you preparing to become an Accredited Case Manager (ACM)? This 5-hour workshop, provided both in-person and via webinar, is designed to provide the practicing Health Care Delivery System Case Manager with information needed to prepare for the ACM certification exam. Using the official ACM Certification Study Guide as a resource, American Case Management Association's (ACMA) approved trainers walk candidates through the domains of case management practice while interacting with attendees through test examples and intensives for focused review.

What Will I Learn?

This workshop is designed to provide the practicing case manager with a review of case management practice standards in accordance with ACMA guidelines and ACM certification. It will provide intensives for focused review in the key domains of case management practice: screening and assessment, planning, care coordination, intervention and transitions management, and evaluation. The workshop will also include clinical and psychosocial scenarios presented in an interactive format allowing attendees to apply information gathering, assessment, decision-making and problem solving skills.

Karen Vanaskie Scholarship Fund

Karen Vanaskie was one of case management's brightest and most dedicated professionals. She was serving as Secretary / Treasurer on the ACMA National Board of Directors at the time of her unexpected passing on June 21, 2024.

At the request of Karen's family, ACMA has set up the Karen Vanaskie Scholarship Fund. Karen was passionate about the need for case management certification. She actively supported her staff in pursuing the Accredited Case Manager (ACM) Certification. To continue her legacy, this scholarship fund will cover the cost of their ACM certification application fee for those to whom it is awarded. We believe this continues Karen's legacy.
