Continuing Education Information
Continuing Education (CE) certificates issued by ACMA are generally accepted by most professional nursing and social work organizations and state boards of nursing and social work as many licensing authorities allow for some form of CE reciprocity. ACMA has made substantial efforts to obtain appropriate providerships for CE offerings; however, ACMA does not warrant that all professional organizations and/or licensing authorities will accept its CE offerings. If in doubt, individuals are advised to contact their professional licensing organizations and/or licensing authorities to confirm acceptance of one of more of the following:

Nursing Continuing Education:

CCM
Through a collaborative agreement with the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), ACMA educational activities and the corresponding credits are acceptable for CCM renewal.
As required by the approval agencies listed above, ACMA maintains records and CE certificates for all educational activities for a minimum of 7 years after the educational activity concludes.

Individuals are responsible for contacting their professional organizations and/or licensing authorities to obtain information on licensure, continuing education requirements and requirements for acceptable continuing education courses, programs and sponsors. Individuals are also responsible for verifying that the approving organizations listed above are accepted by their professional organizations and/or licensing authorities. Unless otherwise noted on the CE certificate, individuals are responsible for submitting their earned continuing education credits/certificates to the appropriate professional organizations and/or licensing authorities to maintain their individual certification(s), recertification(s), licensure(s), etc.
