Abstract
Focus on the impact health professional can have in the fight to end human trafficking. Program aims to increase awareness among health care professionals and provide them with the skills necessary to help identify and respond to potential victims.

Learning Objectives
1. Describe impact on human trafficking within communities.
2. Discuss assessment skills to increase awareness and identify potential victims.
3. Identify and apply interventions within case management practice.

Speaker: Sara Breuer, BS | Education Specialist | United Against Human Trafficking

Sara Jayne joined the UAHT team in January of 2020 as an Education Specialist. As the Education Specialist, she gives human trafficking training to communities and front-line professionals to unite people in the fight against human trafficking. Before coming to UAHT, Sara Jayne worked at the American Red Cross as a Preparedness Specialist, coordinating, and delivering presentations on preparing for emergencies, in addition to disaster response work. She learned about human trafficking in 2008, and since then has attended events and training, researched and advocated for anti-trafficking initiatives across Los Angeles County.
